The settlement reached earlier this year to bring two, multi-million dollar antitrust lawsuits against the UFC to a close, has been denied by a judge.

According to reports, Judge Richard Boulware has denied the $335 million dollar settlement reached between the UFC’s parent company, TKO Holdings, and the parties of two, antitrust lawsuits brought by various fighters.

Boulware reportedly communicated previously that he thought the settled payout was too low, and that fighters involved in the second lawsuit could reject arbitration and class-action waiver clauses in existing contracts.

A status conference for the expected, pending trial is set for August 19th. The UFC has since issued a statement in which the company relayed it disagrees with the recent ruling.
