Kamaru Usman undergoes Hand Surgery

According to ESPN’s Marc Raimondi, current UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman underwent hand surgery and is targeting for a July return at UFC 276, which is scheduled to be in Las Vegas for international fight week.
Kamaru Usman has been one of the promotions’ most active champions since winning the welterweight title with five defenses. Usman has beaten the likes of Colby Covington, Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns in those five defenses.
According to Dana White, Leon Edwards is expected to be Usman’s next title defense once he has recovered from his hand surgery.
