Kayla Harrison Signs With UFC, Fighting Holly Holm Next

The UFC has added one of the world’s top female fighters to its roster, as former PFL champ Kayla Harrison has signed with the promotion and will fight Holly Holm next.
Recently, UFC President Dana White announced that the company has signed the two-time, Olympic Judo gold medalist and that she’ll face Holm at UFC 300. The fight will be contested at bantamweight.
The 33-year-old Harrison (16-1), who has competed at lightweight throughout much of her career, is coming off a decision win over Aspen Ladd in November.
Holm (15-6, 1 NC), meanwhile, last competed in July and was submitted by Mayra Bueno Silva. But, because the latter tested positive for a banned substance (ritalinic acid) the fight was overturned to a no contest.
UFC 300 will take place on April 13th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
