According to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Kelvin Gastelum will be now facing Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 273, which is scheduled for April 9th. Bout will be contested at middleweight. Location will be at the VyStar Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

Gastelum was originally set to face Nassourdine Imavov at UFC 273. However, visas issues did not allow Imavov to enter the country for his middleweight bout against Imavov.

While Dricus Du Plessis was originally set to face Anthony Hernandez on the same card; but, the promotion was forced to make the change in order to keep Gastelum on the card. Anthony Hernandez will now be facing newcomer Josh Fremd.
