Another UFC main event has been altered by COVID-19, as Kevin Holland’s announced he’s tested positive for the virus.

Holland was scheduled to fight Jack Hermansson next Saturday in the main event of UFC Vegas 16. The 28-year-old was stepping in for the injured Darren Till.

But, recently Holland tweeted out that he’s tested positive for COVID-19. The UFC has yet to officially announce the change.

“I have been pulled from my main event bout next weekend due to a positive pre fight covid test. Hoping to test clean and get back inside the cage ASAP.”

Holland (20-5) was coming off a stoppage win over Charlie Ontiveros on October 31st, which was his fourth straight win.

Recently Curtis Blaydes was forced to withdraw from the UFC Vegas 15 headliner with Derrick Lewis, after testing positive for COVID-19.
