Following reports that Tony Ferguson is asking for the same money as Khabib Nurmagomedov, if the UFC wants to book a fight between the lightweight contenders, the latter has offered to pay “El Cucuy” $200,000.

Recently Nurmagomedov tweeted out the following comment:

Hey @TonyFergusonXT if the @ufc don't want to pay you I'll pay you 200k extra on your purse let's make this fight now you have no excuse

UFC President Dana White has said the promotion is not interested in offering Ferguson the same purse as “The Eagle”, since he recently signed a new contract.

If Nurmagomedov – Ferguson is booked, the winner is expected to advance to a fight with lightweight champ, Conor McGregor.
