Khabib Nurmagomedov returned to his native Dagestan, following his championship win at UFC 223, and the lightweight star received a hero’s welcome.

Nurmagomedov worked his way to a clear cut, unanimous decision win over Al Iaquinta last weekend, and in doing so, secured the vacant lightweight title. With the win, the Dagestan born fighter moved his overall record to 26-0.
