Khamzat Chimaev Calls For Bout With Israel Adesanya
By FCF Staff
Khamzat Chimaev isn’t currently ranked in the top 15 of the UFC’s middleweight division. But that hasn’t stopped the fast-rising star from calling for a bout with middleweight champ, Israel Adesanya.
Since Adesanya stopped Paulo Costa in decisive fashion at UFC 253 on Saturday, Chimaev tweeted out the comments and image below.
Borz is ready for the hunt and grab what belongs to him. @stylebender
I am ready, make this happen @ufc @danawhite @seanshelby

The 26-year-old Chimaev is coming off a 17 second, knockout win over Gerald Meerschaert on September 19th. In July, Chimaev set a new UFC record by winning two bouts in just 10 days.
