Khamzat Chimaev Talks Timeline For Return, Trades Tweets With Neil Magny
By FCF Staff
After recording three UFC wins in approximately a two month span, it looks like Khamzat Chimaev will not fight again until this summer.
Chimaev, who last competed in September when he quickly KO’d Gerald Meerschaert, has been sidelined due to ongoing, medical issues from COVID-19. The undefeated fighter was scheduled to face Leon Edwards several times, including on March 13th, but Chimaev (9-0) is still recovering.
Recently the 26-year-old shared out the image and comments below, regarding a timeline for his return.

A back-and-forth with welterweight contender, Neil Magny, followed.

Magny (24-8) is coming off a decision loss to Michael Chiesa this past January, which ended his three-fight winning streak.
