Leon Edwards Calls Out “Tree Stump” Gilbert Burns For New, UFC 256 Headliner

Following the news that the December 12th, Kamaru Usman – Gilbert Burns fight has been postponed, Leon Edwards has challenged ‘Durinho’ to battle at the event.
Burns was scheduled to fight the welterweight champ at UFC 256, but recently it was reported that Usman will not be ready to compete at the event, due to injuries. Since then, Edwards fired the tweets below at Burns.

The 29-year-old Edwards (18-3) hasn’t fought since last July when he recorded a decision win over Rafael dos Anjos. The British welterweight has won eight straight.
