Luke Rockhold Says It’s “Very” Possible Fight Career is Over
By FCF Staff
After incurring back-to-back losses for the first time in his decorated career, Luke Rockhold is reporting he may have competed in his last fight.
The former UFC and Strikeforce champion is coming off a knockout loss to light-heavyweight contender Jan Blachowicz in July, which followed a KO loss to middleweight star Yoel Romero in February, 2018. In the loss to Blachowicz, Rockhold suffered a broken jaw.
Recently the 35-year-old spoke with ESPN, and during the interview, Rockhold reported: “I have no interest in fighting right now”. When asked how possible it is that he may not compete again, Rockhold said “Very”.
In recent years, as Rockhold has battled injuries, the 16-5 fighter has also worked as a model. Since arriving in the UFC in 2013 from Strikeforce, Rockhold has gone 6-4.
