Following his submission loss to Aleksei Oleinik yesterday at UFC FN 136, Mark Hunt has one bout left on his contract with the promotion, and he’s hoping to close out his UFC run before the year is up.

The legendary striker has repeatedly said he doesn’t intend to re-sign with the UFC, on account of his issues with the company, which includes an ongoing lawsuit.

When asked about his next bout, and his short term future on Saturday, Hunt said the following (quote via MMA Junkie):

“I love working for the UFC, but we have issues,” Hunt said. “I’ve got one more fight left, and I’m trying to get on the Adelaide card with Tai (Tuivasa) and the boys. One last hurrah for the old guy.”

The Adelaide, Australia card is scheduled for December 1st. With yesterday’s loss, the 44 year-old Hunt’s MMA record stands at 14-14-1, 1 no contest.
