Matt Brown Open to Bouts With Nate or Nick Diaz

Following his jaw-dropping knockout win at UFC Vegas 29, Matt Brown is reporting he’d like to fight either Nick or Nate Diaz…out of respect.
The 40-year-old Brown ended a two-fight losing skid on Saturday night, by scoring a one-punch, KO win over Dhiego Lima. The fight’s end came in the second round.
While discussing what he hopes comes next afterward, Brown relayed this (quote via MMA Junkie)
“I love the Diaz brothers, and of course it would be a big fight,” Brown said. “That’s one of them fights like, if I took it, it wouldn’t be because I dislike the Diazes or anything. I would take it because it’s a big fight and I respect them.”
And when asked about the fact he continues to fight, after talking about retiring in the past, Brown stated
“I love fighting – that’s all there is to it,” Brown said. “I just love fighting. It’s just getting a camp together and putting all the pieces of the puzzle together. That just takes more time, so that’s what determines when I’m able to fight, not as much my desire – because my desire is there. I want to come in and do that to a lot of people, what I did tonight.”
Brown moved his record to 23-18 with his victory on Saturday.
