UFC middleweight contender Chael Sonnen has fight matchups available in both the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions – and the “American Gangster” has a long line of fighters willing to trade punches with him.

UFC President Dana White told MMAJunkie.com Sonnen will have opportunities both inside the cage and away from the sport:

“He’s got a lot of options. Fox loves this guy. He’s going to end up with a television deal. He’s the only one to ever challenge Anderson Silva.”

Despite being the only person to make Silva look human, the potential of a third fight between Sonnen and Silva is up in the air.

“I never say, ‘never.’ I mean, anything is possible, but he beat him twice. It’s tough to do a rubber match when the guy is 2-0 on you.”

I don’t think a third fight with Silva would make sense at this point – and there are plenty of fights available for UFC matchmaker Joe Silva to put together.

The likes of Wanderlei Silva, Vitor Belfort and Michael Bisping all want a shot against Sonnen, while Quinton “Rampage” Jackson also had harsh words for Sonnen. The Team Quest middleweight is a big name with legitimate fight skills, so a victory against him helps move up the ranks.
