Megan Anderson Says Bout With Cris “Cyborg” is “The Fight to Make”, Following UFC 219
By FCF Staff
Now that Cris “Cyborg” Justino has defeated Holly Holm, people are asking who should be next for the UFC featherweight champ, and Megan Anderson says it should be her.
“Cyborg” took on Holm in the headliner of UFC 219, and outscored the former bantamweight champ for the decision win. After the fight, Justino mentioned Anderson as a possible, future opponent, and the 27 year-old tweeted this:
Great fight ladies! Congrats Cris on retaining your belt! @ufc I think there's only 1 fight to make now against a legit featherweight. #UFC219

Anderson was scheduled to fight Justino at UFC 214 this past summer, but had to withdraw due to personal reasons. “Cyborg” stopped Tony Evinger to lay claim to the vacant, featherweight title.
