The Ultimate Fighting Championship has added another bout to the December 15th, TUF 16 Finale in Las Vegas, as Melvin Guillard will take on fellow lightweight vet Jamie Varner.

Guillard (30-11) will be looking to rebound from the knockout loss he suffered against Donald Cerrone in August. Approximately one month earlier, Guillard worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Fabricio Camoes.

The powerful striker is 2-3 in his last five bouts.

Varner (20-7) is also coming off a loss, as the former WEC champion was submitted by Joe Lauzon in a memorable bout at UFC on FOX 4 in August.

Prior to that the Arizona fighter scored a stoppage win over Edson Barboza at UFC 146 in May. Varner has gone 3-2 in his last five fights.

The TUF 16 Finale will be hosted by the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and will feature a heavyweight bout between Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin in the main event.
