Middleweight and Featherweight Semifinals Set for March 7th Bellator
Bellator has announced that the semifinals of the promotion’s ongoing middleweight and featherweight tournaments will go down, March 7th, at the Pechanga Resort in Temecula, California.
At middleweight, Sultan Aliev will take on Doug “Rhino” Marshall and Dan Cramer will face Brett Cooper.
“Winning the tournament will validate me – again – and put me where I need to be, back at the top of the food chain, with a target on my back,” Marshall said in a press release from the promotion. “Ain’t no more hunting – the game’s going to come to me. It’s going to be huge.”
In the featherweight semis, Alexandre Bezerra will battle Mike Richman and Frodo Khasbulaev will meet Marlon Sandro.
“I am so fortunate to have the chance to fight in the toughest tournament in the world,” Sandro said. “This is my opportunity to show the world what I can do and I am ready to finish at the top.”
