Veteran Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic added another impressive title to his decorated resume last night in Zagreb, Croatia, as the 38 year-old-fighter won three bouts to take K-1’s 2013 World Grand Prix.

Filipovic earned unanimous decision wins over Jarrell Miller and Pavel Zhuravlev in quarterfinal and semifinal action, before facing Ismael Londt in the finals.

Londt reportedly battled back from being dropped, courtesy a left head kick from “Cro Cop” in the finale, but in the end, Filipovic was awarded the UD win.

The victory comes after a 2012 campaign which saw Filipovic compete in several kickboxing bouts, and just one MMA match.

In December, the UFC and PRIDE vet tapped out Shinichi Suzukawa with a first round armbar at Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye 2012.
