After recently signing a new deal with the UFC, Misha Cirkunov has been booked to fight Volkan Oezdemir at the promotion’s upcoming, May 28th card in Stockholm, Sweden.

Cirkunov (13-2) entered free agency earlier this year, after submitting Nikita Krylov in December to move his UFC record to 4-0. The fight announcement comes not long after both Dana White and Cirkunov publicly acknowledged that contract talks had been intense.

Oezdemir (13-1) made his Octagon debut in early February, and earned a split decision win over Ovince Saint Preux.

In the main event of UFC Fight Night 109, Alexander Gustafsson will take on fellow light-heavyweight contender, Glover Teixeira.
