Diaz cracking Lawler

Recently it was reported that the UFC was close to finalizing a rematch between Nick Diaz and Robbie Lawler, and now the fight’s reportedly set.

The stars battled for the first time back in 2004, and Diaz won the fight via a second-round, knockout.

Last week it was reported that one of the fighters had verbally agreed to a rematch. On Tuesday, Yahoo Sports’ Kevin Iole reported that Dana White says Diaz – Lawler has been finalized for September 25. The fight is scheduled for five rounds.

Diaz (26-9, 2 NCs) hasn’t fought since 2015, while Lawler (28-15, 1 NC) is coming off a decision loss to Neil Magny last August.
