FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ORGANIZATIONS TEAM UP TO BRING WORLD CLASS MIXED MARTIAL ARTS COMPETITION TO HAWAII.

Honolulu, HI – On December 15th 2001, Pacific Sports Entertainment (PSE) and the newly formed United Shoot Association (USA) in conjunction with the International Fighting Championships (IFC), will light up the State of Hawaii with the event of the year, "SHOGUN" at the Honolulu Convention Center.

"SHOGUN" will be a night of tremendous excitement as some of the world’s top mixed martial arts fighters battle in a cage. This will mark the first for Hawaii to have a cage used in a Hawaiian mixed martial arts event. No strangers to the ring, Hawaii’s own, Egan Inoue, will be headlining the night in a bout against Dennis Hallman, who will be moving up in weight in an EXPLOSIVE match! Both men are Pride and UFC veterans, respectively.

In addition, there will be a tribute to Brian Johnston during the event. Johnston, a professional mixed martial arts veteran and coach, was planning a comeback in the sport, but recently suffered an unfortunate stroke. Brian Johnston merchandise will be sold at the event to aid his recovery fund.

Stay Tuned. The complete card will be released soon.
