Texas’ hottest new promotion has just added a great main event! Aaron Steagle captivated the audience at the last Talon Challenge with unbelievable throws and power to eventually go on to win by submission. The same night he captured the Most Outstanding Fighter Award presented to him by HCF (a group called HardCore Fans of MMA). He showed phenominal potential and is definitely upping his test of skills. Aaron Riley, the current WEF Lightweight Champion, Texas Shootout Champion and HOOKnSHOOT fighter, will return to Texas in his first match since March of this year. Riley has taken a long layoff to train and expects a hard match. "I just love Texas an it’s a good opportunity to see how far I’ve came in the last few months with my training", says an eager Riley who admits he’s getting a little anxious to get back into the ring and is NOT taking Steagle lightly. The should be an incredible superfight on a card full of action. Also on the show, "RUTHLESS" Ruth Mejia, fighting out of Team Benevidas located in Mercedes, TX. The scrappy 109 lb. Mejia will be making her MMA debut and hopes to have a good showing and move on to bigger and better things. Along with a 4-man SUPERHEAVYWEIGHT tournament, Jeff Osborne, promoter of HOOKnSHOOT, is also scheduled to fight. For ticket and show information call (956) 867-7500. |
