Paulie Malignaggi Calls Dana White The “Pillsbury Doughboy” While Blasting UFC President
By FCF Staff
Paulie Malignaggi has been highly critical of Conor McGregor and his team in recent days, and now the decorated boxer’s turned his sights to Dana White.
Malignaggi has been in the headlines recently, as a result of his fallout with McGregor, who had brought him in to help him prepare for his August 26th bout with Floyd Mayweather. Last week, Dana White released footage of McGregor and Malignaggi sparring, and the UFC President said the retired boxer was dominated by the UFC star. Malignaggi, however, has claimed otherwise.
The New York fighter was a guest once again on “The MMA Hour” recently, and Malignaggi fired away at White. The UFC President attended the second sparring session between Malignaggi and McGregor (quotes via MMA Fighting):
“That fat f*ck Dana White,” Malignaggi said. “The Pillsbury Doughboy. You put a white hat on him and give him a white shirt, he looks like the Pillsbury Doughboy. I just want to punch him in his belly button, so he can go ‘hoo hoo hoo,’ like that little laugh from the Pillsbury Doughboy, you know?”
“I never liked the guy,” Malignaggi added. “I don’t think he treats the fighters fairly. I don’t think he treats the UFC fighters fairly…”
Mayweather and McGregor will battle at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
