PFL 3 2021: Fabricio Werdum Takes Controversial Loss

The PFL’s 2021 season featured another upset on Thursday, as Fabricio Werdum incurred a controversial loss to Renan Ferreira.

The former UFC heavyweight champ caught Ferreira with a triangle choke early into the fight, and the latter appeared to tap. The fight wasn’t stopped, and as action continued, Ferreira proceeded to finish the bout with strikes from above.

Here are the complete results for the third card of the PFL’s 2021 season, which featured action in the heavyweight and women’s lightweight divisions. 2019 lightweight champ Kayla Harrison stopped Mariana Morais in the opening round.

In the PFL’s first card of 2021, former UFC lightweight champ Anthony Pettis lost via decision to Clay Collard,and two-time featherweight champ Lance Palmer dropped a decision to Bubba Jenkis.

PFL 3 2021 took place in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
