Today we learn from the man himself just what his plans are. Cesar Gracie also updates us both on how fighters from his jiu-jitsu school in California have been doing, and to discuss his own plans involving future grappling and fighting events. Thursday, July 27 — Teimoc Jonston Ono was an Olympian in judo, as well as a national champion in judo and sombo. He currently is a martial arts and self-defense instructor at the Ultimate Gym in New York. Today he joins us in the studio. Friday, July 28 — Today we focus on the never-ending Olympic scandals. Journalist Wina Sturgeon, who has covered Olympic sports for publications including the Standard-Examiner in Utah and Sports Illustrated, gives us her take on the latest developments. Dr. Wade Exum, who recently resigned as the drug czar for the U.S. Olympic Committee, has filed a federal lawsuit against the committee alleging that the USOC had allowed athletes who had previously tested positive at Olympic trials to go unpunished and compete at the Olympics, and also for practices of racial discrimination. Today we hear from Dr. Exum. |
