Recent “FOTN” Winner TJ Grant Reports New Four Fight Deal With UFC
By FCF Staff
Surging lightweight TJ Grant has announced via Twitter that he’s signed a new, four fight deal with the UFC. The contract signing comes approximately one month after the 28 year-old fighter worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Evan Dunham at UFC 152. The memorable bout also earned each competitor “Fight of the Night” honors.
Since moving from welterweight to lightweight, Grant has scored consecutive wins over Shane Roller, Carlo Prater and the aforementioned Dunham.
Grant made the decision to drop to 155 pounds after he dropped a UD loss to Ricardo Almeida in December, 2010. During his run as a UFC welterweight, the Nova Scotia fighter went 3-3.
Grant, who carries an overall record of 19-5, currently has no fight booked.
