Report: Andrei Arlovski Recovering From Shoulder Surgery
By FCF Staff
Following his memorable and upset win over Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva in September, it looks as though Andrei Arlovski won’t be booking his next fight just yet.
The former heavyweight champ, who knocked Silva out in the opening round at a UFC Fight Night card in Brazil, is reportedly recovering from shoulder surgery.
According to a report on the latest edition of FOX Sports 1’s “UFC Tonight”, Arlovski’s manager says the fighter will be out for six to eight weeks.
The 35 year-old Arlovski (23-10) has gone 2-0 since returning to the UFC earlier this year, and has won four fights in a row.
The only man to defeat him since 2011 is light-heavyweight contender Anthony Johnson.
