It looks like the UFC’s August 29th card will feature a compelling, light-heavyweight bout, as it’s being reported that Anthony Smith will take on Aleksandar Rakic.

The light-heavyweight contenders have reportedly agreed to fight at the upcoming card, which is expected to take place in Las Vegas.

The match-up was first reported by MMA Play 365 and MMA Junkie has also confirmed with sources that the fight is planned.

Rakic (12-2) is looking to get back on track, as the Austrian fighter had a 12 fight, winning streak snapped by Volkan Oezdemir in his last outing. Rakic lost the December fight via split decision.

Smith (33-15) is also coming off a loss, as the veteran was stopped by Glover Teixeira in May. Smith has gone 3-2 in his last five fights; the American’s other loss during that time came against champion, Jon Jones.
