It’s being reported that the UFC has booked a compelling featherweight fight for its fall schedule, as contender Calvin Kattar will take on the surging, Kyle Nelson.

The featherweights have reportedly agreed to fight at a September 7th card, which has yet to have a venue and location announced. Multiple sources have confirmed the fight according to an initial report from MMA Junkie.com.

The 36-year-old Kattar (23-8) will be looking to end a three-fight, losing skid. Most recently, in April, Kattar dropped a decision to former bantamweight champ, Aljamain Sterling. The American fighter is 1-4 in his last 5 bouts.

Nelson (16-5-1), who is 33, is coming off a first-round, stoppage of Bill Algeo in March. The Canadian has gone 3-1-1 in his last 5 contests.
