It looks like a heavyweight bout between Derrick Lewis and Blagoy Ivanov will be added to the UFC’s Q4 schedule.

The UFC is reportedly close to finalizing a fight between the contenders for its November 2nd card in New York City. The news is being reported by ESPN.

Lewis (21-7, 1 no-contest) is coming off a stoppage loss to Junior dos Santos this past March, which followed a submission loss to champion Daniel Cormier last November. Lewis had won three straight prior to the defeats.

Ivanov (18-2, 1 no-contest), meanwhile, scored a decision win over Tai Tuivasa this past June, and the former WSOF champ has gone 2-1 in the UFC to date.

A main event for UFC 244 has not been announced.
