Discovery has reportedly decided to cancel Dana White’s boxing series “The Fighters” after just one episode. The program, which was spearheaded by White, television producer Craig Piligian and renowned boxing trainer Peter Welch, was a reality show about up-and-coming boxers in Boston.

White reportedly relayed earlier in the week that ‘The Fighters” debut drew 385,000 viewers, which the UFC President said was due to a lack of promotion from Discovery.

After reports of the show’s cancellation surfaced, Welch confirmed via Twitter that the program is done and added: “Such a great show, we hope to get it on an audience appropriate network.”
