One of Europe’s top prospects has his UFC debut booked, as it’s being reported former Cage Warriors champ-champ Mason Jones will fight Mike Davis.

The 25 -year-old Jones (10-0) recently signed with the UFC, after the Welsh fighter won Cage Warrior’s welterweight title in September, by stopping Adam Proctor.

Jones won the promotion’s lightweight belt in March by finishing Joe McColgan.

MMA Island was the first to report that Jones and Davis are set to fight at the UFC’s January 20 card in Abu Dhabi. MMA Junkie has also confirmed with sources that the match-up is set.

The American Davis (8-2), meanwhile, hasn’t fought since October, 2019 when he knocked out Thomas Gifford. The 28-year-old has gone 1-1 in official UFC bouts to date.
