According to a new report, four fighters failed the post-fight drug tests they were given, following the October 3rd, Bellator 127 card in Temecula, California.
All of the 22 fighters who competed at the event, which was hosted by the Pechanga Resort and Casino, were reportedly tested and the results were submitted to a WADA approved facility. According to a report from Sherdog.com, the California State Athletic Commission has revealed that Keith Berry, Nick Moghaddam, Fernando Gonzalez and Rob Emerson failed their tests.
Berry and Moghaddam reportedly tested positive for elevated T/E levels, as well as marijuana. Emerson allegedly tested positive for Modafinil, which is a medication that treats narcolepsy, but is banned by the commission since it can be used as a stimulant.
Berry had earned a decision win over Joe Pacheco, but that will be overturned to a no-contest. Moghaddam lost via unanimous decision to Ray Sloan, so the result will remain. Emerson lost via UD to Rafael Silva.
Gonzalez, who stopped Karo Parisyan at the event, allegedly tested positive for cannabinoids and has been fined a total of $315.
