It’s still not clear when Germaine de Randamie will fight again, but it sounds like the UFC’s featherweight champ may never defend the title she won in February.

The Dutch fighter defeated Holly Holm that month to become the UFC’s inaugural, women’s 145 champion. But since then, de Randamie has been nursing an injured hand, and her manager has also reported she’s been dealing with personal issues at home and work.

According to a new report from MMA Junkie, de Randamie recently posted a statement on her private Instagram account. In the statement, de Randamie claims that she accepted a bout with Cris “Cyborg” Justino earlier this year. But following the latter’s USADA flag, the champion says she’s not interested in fighting the Brazilian star (Justino eventually received a retroactive, therapeutic exemption for a diuretic, and has not been suspended as a result).

In addition, de Randamie also reportedly said that she plans to have her injured hand checked on June 14th, and that further:

“During the negotiations on the battle with Holly Holm, I said in advance that after this fight I want to return to my natural weight class of (135 pounds). My task has not been completed yet. The UFC has promised me that this would be no problem and I can just return to my natural weight class. This is why I am focusing on this moment.”

It’s also not clear when Justino will fight again, following her well documented incident with Angela Magana.
