UFC Vegas 10 has lost its main event, as it’s being reported that Glover Teixeira has tested positive for COVID-19.

The light heavyweight was scheduled to face fellow contender, Thiago Santos in the main event of the September 12th card. But, according to an initial report from Combate and a follow-up report from MMA Junkie,  Teixeira has tested positive for the coronavirus and cannot compete.

The bout is reportedly being pushed to October 3rd.

A strawweight fight between Angela Hill and Michelle Waterson was in place as the co-headliner for UFC Vegas 10.

There is no news yet on whether Hill – Waterson will be moved into the main event spot or if another fight will be booked as the headliner.
