Report: Hideo Tokoro, Kuniyoshi Hironaka, and Megumi Fujii Among Winners at Vale Tudo Japan
By FCF Staff
Hideo Tokoro reportedly needed less than one minute to stop MMA pioneer Rumina Sato in the main event of Vale Tudo Japan’s latest card today in Tokyo, which returned the DREAM vet back to the winner’s column. Tokoro was fighting for the first time since he was knocked out by Yusup Saadulaev with a slam at DREAM’s NYE event last December.
Other winners from the card included the highly regarded vet Megumi Fujii, who earned a unanimous decision win over Mei Yamaguchi, and Kuniyoshi Hironaka, who scored a UD victory over fellow UFC vet Carlo Prater.
Former UFC bantamweight Ian Loveland was also in action, but lost by unanimous decision to the fast rising Kyoji Horiguchi.
