Report: Ikram Aliskerov to Battle Brunno Ferreira Next
By FCF Staff
It looks like UFC 318 has picked up a bout between two rising middleweights, as Ikram Aliskerov and Brunno Ferreira have reportedly agreed to fight at the July 19th card.
Aliskerov (16-2) is coming off a quick, stoppage win over Andre Muniz in April, which followed his knockout loss to Robert Whittaker in June, 2024. The Dagestani fighter has gone 3-1 to date in the UFC, and his only other loss came against Khamzat Chimaev back in 2019.
Ferreira (13-2) also returned to the win column in his last outing, as he submitted Armen Petrosyan in March. Prior to that the Brazilian fighter was submitted by Abus Magomedov in October, 2024. Ferreira has gone 4-2 in the Octagon so far.
The match-up was first reported by Laerte Viana and has also been confirmed with sources by MMA Fighting.com.
UFC 318 will take place in New Orleans and will feature BMF champ Max Holloway versus Dustin Poirier in the main event.
