The UFC continues to book fights for its spring schedule, as recently it was reported a heavyweight bout between Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Shamil Gaziev will headline a Fight Night card.

The heavyweight fight will reportedly serve as the main event for a March 2nd card, which will take place at the Apex facility in Las Vegas.

The match-up was reported first by Eurosport NL and MMA Junkie has also confirmed the fight with sources.

Rozenstruik (13-5) is looking to get back on track, as the experienced kickboxer was quickly submitted by Jailton Almeida in his last bout. That took place in May, 2023. Rozenstruik is 2-3 in his last 5 fights.

Gaziev (12-0), meanwhile, is coming off a second-round, stoppage win over Martin Buday in December. That fight marked Gaziev’s official, UFC debut, following his submission win over Greg Velasco at a Dana White Contender Series card in September,
