It looks as though Demetrious Johnson has his next opponent, as according to a new report, the UFC has confirmed that John Dodson will challenge the flyweight champion next.

The bout does not have as set date, but according to the report from “UFC Tonight’s” Ariel Helwani, Johnson would like the fight to take place at UFC 191 over the Labor Day Weekend in September.

Dodson and Johnson have fought once before in 2013, and the latter won the fight via unanimous decision. Since the victory, Johnson (22-2-1) has gone on to win five more, straight bouts. Most recently, Johnson submitted Kyoji Horiguchi in April.

Dodson (17-6), on the other hand, has won three consecutive bouts and is coming off a decision win over Zach Makovsky in May.
