It remains to be seen when Jon Jones will make his UFC return, but according to a social media post from the former champ, it could take place on April 23rd.

Recently the UFC announced that it has reinstated Jones, but the promotion has not announced when or where he’ll fight. The light-heavyweight star is expected to take on champion Daniel Cormier, who laid claim to the title, after Jones was stripped of it earlier this year.

According to a recent post on Reddit MMA, Jones recently relayed the following on his private, Instagram account:

Off season 2013 vs. off season 2015. Five more months to prepare for this win. I’ll be sure to be at my best April 23rd. #NewLevels

The UFC has plans to hold an event on April 23rd, at Madison Square Gardens in New York; however, pro MMA has yet to be sanctioned in the jurisdiction. It should also be noted that Cormier has said he does not want to fight Jones in his native state.

Cormier fought Jones this past January and lost the bout via unanimous decision.
