(Updated) Report: Jon Jones to Appear in Court After Being Cited For Driving Without License
By FCF Staff
Not long after the UFC announced that Jon Jones will rematch Daniel Cormier on April 23rd, the former light-heavyweight champ is back in the news due to another legal issue.
According to a report from KRQE News 13, Jones is set to appear in an Albuquerque court on Wednesday, after being cited for driving without a license, and proof of registration and insurance on January 31st.
Jones is currently under probation, following his arrest for a hit-and-run incident last year, which saw him stripped of the UFC’s 205 title.
Update: According to a follow up report from MMA Junkie.com, one of Jones’ representatives is relaying that the former champ is fully licensed and insured to operate a vehicle.
