Following the recent addition of Hector Lombard to its ranks, the Ultimate Fighting Championship is reportedly seeking to add another established middleweight to the promotion in KSW star Mamed Khalidov (25-4).

According to a report from FightersOnlyMag.com, which cites sources in Poland for the story, the UFC has extended Khalidov a contract offer. The 31 year-old-fighter has apparently turned down the contract, by, according to the report, calling the deal “laughable”, because it does not match the $30,000 per bout he reportedly gets with KSW.

The story adds that the Chechnya native is interested in competing in the UFC and understands that his profile is not as high in North America as it is in Eastern Europe, where he has won four straight fights under the KSW banner.

Khalidov is 17-1-2 in his last 20 fights, and the only man to defeat him since 2005 is Jorge Santiago, who earned a unanimous decision win over him in under the Sengoku banner in March, 2010.

The middleweight holds wins over established vets like the aforementioned Santiago, Matt Lindland, Jesse Taylor, James Irvin, Igor Pokrajac and Rodney Wallace, among others.
