Following her successful return to the Octagon earlier this summer, it’s being reported that Miesha Tate has agreed on her next fight.

After retiring back in 2016, Tate returned to the UFC this past July and stopped Marion Reneau in the third round. Recently, Combate was the first to report that the former bantamweight champ has agreed to battle contender, Ketlen Vieira on October 16.

MMA Junkie is reporting that verbal agreements are in place for the fight. The UFC has yet to officially announced the reported match-up.

The 35-year-old Tate (19-7) initially retired following back-to-back losses to Amanda Nunes and Raquel Pennington. Prior to those defeats, Tate had won 5 in a row.

Vieira (11=2), who is 29, is coming off a decision loss to Yana Kunitskaya in February. The bantamweight is 3-2 in her last 5 bouts.
