Report: Movsar Evloev – Aaron Pico Bout Postponed
By FCF Staff
It’s being reported that the UFC’s upcoming card in Abu Dhabi will no longer feature a compelling fight between Movsar Evloev and Aaron Pico.
The featherweights were scheduled to compete at the July 26th event. According to a report from Red Corner MMA and a follow-up report from MMA Junkie, Evloev has been forced to withdraw. Sources have informed MMA Junkie that the UFC plans to rebook the fight for a later date.
Evloev (19-0) has been steadily rising the UFC rankings on account of going 9 and 0 in the Octagon. In the Russian fighter’s last outing, which took place in December, Evloev recorded a unanimous decision win over Aljamain Sterling.
Pico (13-4) is waiting to make his UFC debut. The American stopped Henry Corrales in his last fight, which took place under the PFL banner in February, 2024. The decorated wrestler is 9 and 1 in his last 10 fights.
