Report: Nicco Montano Hospitalized Ahead of Title Defense at UFC 228

The co-main event for UFC 228 is in jeopardy, as it’s being reported that flyweight champ, Nicco Montano, has been hospitalized ahead of a scheduled bout with Valentina Shevchenko.
ESPN was the first to report that the champ has been taken to a hospital in Dallas, where UFC 228 is taking place. The fighters are weighing in for the card this morning.
No details regarding Montano’s condition have been disclosed.
The headliner for UFC 228 is a welterweight contest between champion Tyron Woodley and Darren Till.
