Report: Paulo Filho Shot in Leg After Leaving Party

According to reports, former WEC middleweight champ Paulo Filho was shot in the leg after leaving a party this past Saturday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
News of the incident, and Filho’s injury, is being reported by the Brazilian outlet Psicoticos por VT. The 36 year-old Filho was reportedly taken to hospital and underwent surgery. Further details regarding his status are unknown at this time.

Filho hasn’t fought since February, when he was decisioned by Andre Muniz, while competing for Bitetti Combat.
