Report: Rashad Evans Parts Ways With Glenn Robinson
By FCF Staff
Just a couple of weeks out from Rashad Evan’s October 3rd bout with Ryan Bader, it’s being reported that the former light-heavyweight champ has changed managers.
Evans, who will battle Bader in the co-headliner for UFC 192, is a member of the Blackzilians and was being managed by the team’s Glenn Robinson. According to a new report from “UFC Tonight’s” Ariel Helwani, however, Evans recently parted ways with Robinson. Evans is now managed by Shari Spencer, who used to manage Georges St-Pierre and Frankie Edgar.
Evans remains with the Blackzilians team, however, and is reportedly still on good terms with Robinson.
When “Suga” meets Bader it will mark the first time Evans has fought since 2013, when he stopped Chael Sonnen. The 35 year-old has incurred two knee injuries since then.
UFC 192 will be hosted by Houston, Texas, and in the main event, LHW champ Daniel Cormier will take on Alexander Gustafssson.
