Following a lengthy and successful run with ONE Championship, it’s being reported that Reinier de Ridder has exited the promotion and will compete for UAE Warriors next.

De Ridder (16-2) joined ONE back in 2019 and proceeded to win both the middleweight and light-heavyweight titles. In 2022, however, the Dutch fighter incurred his first defeat when he was stopped Anatoly Malykhin and lost the light-heavyweight belt.

The renowned grappler didn’t fight again until this past March, and lost the middleweight title to Malykhin via TKO.

More recently, MMA Fighting is reporting that de Ridder has been booked to fight Magomedmurad Khasaev at UAE Warriors’ July 27th card. The report states that the 34-year-old de Ridder has parted ways with ONE.
