Report: Santiago Ponzinibbio – Kamaru Usman Bout Targeted For UFC’s Chile Event

The UFC is heading to Chile in the coming weeks, and a welterweight fight between Santiago Ponzinibbio and Kamaru Usman is being targeted for the card’s main event.
The promotion will hold an event in Santiago on May 19th. According to a new report from MMA Fighting, a bout between Ponzinibbio and Usman is expected to be signed shortly as the headliner.
Ponzinibbio (26-3) has won six in a row, and the Argentinian welterweight is coming off a decision win over Mike Perry.
Usman (12-1) defeated Emil Meek by decision in his last bout, and the Nigerian – American fighter has won 11 in a row.
