Report: Stipe Miocic vs. Francis Ngannou Expected For January

Following Francis Ngannou’s electrifying, KO win over Alistair Overeem last weekend at UFC 218, it’s being reported the surging heavyweight is targeted to fight the champ, Stipe Miocic, on January 20th.
According to MMA Junkie, the match-up is expected to take place at UFC 220, which will be hosted by Boston. In a follow up story, MMA Fighting is reporting that sources have confirmed that the title fight is set for the upcoming card.
With the win over Overeem, Ngannou moved his UFC record to 6-0. Miocic, meanwhile, hasn’t fought since May, when he stopped Junior dos Santos.
